school reopens with a bang...
to signal the start of the mad rush to complete all the holiday assignments. i am left with more than 50% undone which means that i need to spend my weekend doing them. sigh.
a couple change of teachers and i am pretty happy with the change. as predicted, miss huang become our CT this year and surprisingly mr teo ming ern become my chemistry teacher. seriously speaking i am quite afraid of him having been caught sleeping in the auditorium during CT session and talking during morning assembly in the parade square a couple of times. however in the end my intution tell sme that he is still a great caring and dedicated teacher.
didn't get to see my new GP teacher yesterday because i had to attend some boring orientation programme for my NTU H3 contemporary physics course. the orientation includes some talks introducing NTU aka advertising NTU and what it has to offer for us in the future and one of the most boring orientation games in the world, amazing "walk" around the NTU campus. supposed to be amazing race but nothing in the "game" is fun, so yeah. and imagine having to carry your school bag around as you "play" the game. don't really like my H3 physics class. having 80% foreign scholars around who already know each other makes me feel very out of place and uncomfortable. to add on, some "rival" group from swiss cottage that i used to dislike when i joined the great science challenge in secondary four is in the same class. apparently the three people in the group are in pjc, njc and sajc respectively and ALL THREE OF THEM are in the same class as me. wow, the world is really small. hope they are nice and friendly people.
having the first H3 lesson on monday which means that i would miss the senior meet junior session that i have been looking forward to. ARGH.
can't wait for orientation campfire and class dinner with seniors with week.
